So another week into our adventure and with a sad heart we say goodbye to the breathtakingly beautiful Loas…Not only have we enjoyed the very best cuisine Loas had to offer and seen some awe inspiring sites, we also met some of the nicest most welcoming people. Clearly living up to their mostly Buddhist believes of peace and harmony, with a temple hiding around every corner waiting to be explored.
From up in the North where we crossed over into Loas from Vietnam, where we had our first taste of the slow pace of life in the jungle in the quaint little town of Muang Ngoi, to the capital Luang Prabang where we couldn’t get enough of all the temples, to the mellow vibes down south in Si Phan Don or better known as the 4000 Islands.
We loved the life in Loas and sure to return to this part of the world where time literally stands still…But for now we’re on the road again with more exciting places and faces to see 😉
Next stop Cambodia and then off to the untainted Myanmar 🙂
Until then…
Sok Di (goodbye in Loa)
